AUG. 14 UPDATE: Lights FC announced today that the previously scheduled match for Aug. 8 against San Diego Loyal SC that was postponed has been rescheduled for Sept. 2 (kickoff 7:30 p.m. PT). The match will air live on ESPN+.

The original match was postponed in the abundance of caution after a person scheduled to be involved with the match tested positive for COVID-19. This individual remains isolated at home and remains in good spirits under the care of team physicians.

ORIGINAL STORY
The Las Vegas Lights FC match scheduled for tonight has been postponed after the team says an "individual scheduled to be involved" in the match tested positive for COVID-19.

The team sent out the announcement on its Twitter account and stated the individual is isolated at home and showing no symptoms.

The match with San Diego Loyal SC will be rescheduled at a later date.
