Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Alyn Beck was killed in the line of duty June 8, 2014. Officer Igor Soldo was also killed. The police officers were having lunch at CiCi's Pizza near Stewart Avenue and Nellis Boulevard when they were shot by Jerard and Amanda Miller.
The couple then ran into a neighboring Walmart where they killed a civilian named Joseph Wilcox, 31, who tried to stop them.
The couple eventually died during a gunfight with other officers.
Huckleberry Park on Farm Road near Hualapai was previous dedicated to Igor Soldo.
