LAUGHLIN (KTNV) — The Market at Laughlin is having a grand opening ceremony on Saturday.

The store is replacing Aldape’s Market, which closed earlier this year and left Laughlin without a full-fledged grocery store.

The grand opening event will begin at 10 a.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will happen at 11. There will be specials and giveaways.

Items to be given away include a 65-inch television, 2 bicycles, and a number of gift cards, according to the Mohave Daily News and Laughlin Times.

Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft (District A) is scheduled to attend the ceremony.

The store is owned by Darin and Valarie Hill.
