LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Dec. 19 The Foundation for Positively Kids had to get creative for their annual Breakfast with Santa event to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Instead of a traditional breakfast, about 75 kids with special needs got to ride through the decorated parking lot and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.

They also received some gifts and gift cards.
The foundation says the pandemic has made life difficult for the families they serve, most are low income.
The organization said today's event will give them the simple basics of being a child during the holiday season.
