LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Dec. 19, The Good Deed Project handed out meals to people in need in Las Vegas.
Santa's helpers made the deliveries during the event.
The Good Deed Project says giving has been difficult this year due to the pandemic and having to cancel their major fundraiser.
"We've been really doing our best to serve families but again it's been difficult for us to do what we normally do and so just to be able to provide some love in the form of food has just been amazing for us and our volunteers," said Mandy Telleria the project's executive director.
They gave out around 2,900 food items.
