13 Things To Do In Las Vegas For The Week of Feb. 3-9

Here is a list of 13 things to do this week in the Las Vegas valley for Feb. 3 through 9:

1. The legendary Lita Ford is signing books at Zia Records on Eastern Avenue on Feb. 3. She will be signing copies of her memoir titled "Living Like A Runaway." Lita Ford was heavy metal's leading female rocker in the 70s and 80s.

2. This month's featured artists at First Friday in downtown Las Vegas are Baesia, a local contemporary stencil artists who merges pop art and street art, and multimedia artist Blake Byers, who will be live painting a large three-piece mural during the event. The monthly event also features food trucks, live entertainment and more. 

3. Backstage Bar & Billiards is hosting the Vegas Music Summit on Feb. 3. The artist showcase will feature performances by Code Red Riot, We Gave It Hall, Nations, Almost Awake, A Poison Alibi and Jesse Pino.

4. I Love The 90's Tour will stop at the Hard Rock on Feb. 3. Some of the most iconic names in the music business from that time period will perform including Vanilla Ice, Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath, Naughty By Nature, All-R-One, Tone Loc and Young MC.

5. Comedian Jim Breuer is known for his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality. Breuer, who is a former cast member of "Saturday Night Live" and "Home Improvement," performs Feb. 3 and 4 in the showroom at South Point hotel-casino.

6. Join rangers and the astronomical society on Feb. 4 at Boulder Beach Amphitheater to learn about the night sky and to discuss the impacts of light pollution in national parks. Attendees will also be able to view constellations and planets through provided telescopes.

7. Singer Frankie Moreno was a child prodigy on the piano. He appeared on "Star Search" at the age of 10. Now he performs in Las Vegas. Moreno performs Feb. 4 in the showroom at Suncoast hotel-casino. 

8. Moksha performs in a free show Feb. 4 at Topgolf. Moksha is a jam band based in Las Vegas featuring John Heisham (bass and vocals), Brian Triola (organ, keys and vocals), Pat Gray (drums and percussion) and Jeremy Parks (guitar and lap steel).

9. Ariana Grande landed four songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014. Some of Ariana's popular songs are "Yours Truly", "The Way", "Problem."  She performs Feb. 4 in the Grand Garden Arena at MGM Grand.

10. Lounge performer Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine perform Feb. 4 at Red Rock hotel-casino. Cheese and his group performs Vegas versions of rock, Top 40 hits and rap. Cheese has released 15 albums since 2000. 

11. If you are a football fan, you know what is happening Sunday. The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will take the field in Houston. But, if you can't make it there, there are plenty of places to watch the game in Las Vegas. Click here for list.

12. Iconic Diana Ross is back for another engagement at The Venetian beginning Feb. 8. Her show, "The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade," celebrates her lengthy career, which spans five decades. She will perform through Feb. 11.

13. Worldwide superstar Cher brings her "Classic Cher" show to the new Park Theater at the Monte Carlo hotel-casino beginning Feb. 8 The singer, actress and director has sold more than 100 million albums. She performs through Feb. 14.
