What to expect from Las Vegas weather on Thanksgiving

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Thanksgiving weather looks slightly cooler than average with noticeable breezes from the north.

A quick-moving trough of low pressure will pass to our north on Thursday, ushering in winds from the north at 15-25 mph.

Temperatures will start off in the low 40s (and upper 30s on the edges of the Las Vegas valley) and in spite of a mostly sunny sky, afternoon highs will be limited to the upper 50s.

The record high for the date is 77° set back in 2017. The average high is 61°.

It looks like those north winds will linger on Friday with a few gusts to 20 mph.
