LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The recent sports boycotts are having an impact on the sportsbook business in Las Vegas.
The South Point sportsbook says it has seen an uptick in bettors ever since the casinos reopened, but the available betting options have gone down with the recent postponements.
Oddsmaker Jimmy Vaccaro says business is expected to be rocky for a while.
NHL players, including Vegas Golden Knights, agree to postpone playoffs
Vacarro also says you can expect some big changes at the sportsbook once the NFL season rolls around with bettors and workers following COVID-19 safety protocols.
