'Turkey crossing' helps LVMPD make area roads safer

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers are trying to make the streets a little safer this Thanksgiving and they're using a turkey to do it.

Officers are highlighting one of the most dangerous streets for pedestrians in the valley by having a person in a turkey suit walk across it.
