LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police arrested a 31-year-old suspect on Thursday in connection with a deadly road rage-related shooting that occurred back in November.

As of Monday, Jonathan Trevone Evans was in custody without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.

He is facing an open murder charge stemming from a fatal shooting on Nov. 12 that involved motorist Anthony James Blount at a 7-Eleven parking lot, according to a warrant.

In that original incident, officers were called just after 8 p.m. to the convenience store located at 1101 E. Bonanza Road in response to a shooting call.

According to detectives, a driver, Blount, and others including two pedestrians got into an altercation at that location where a fistfight ensued in the lot that led to the shooting.
