UPDATE: Less than 40 customers without power Monday afternoon

4 P.M. UPDATE FEB. 15: Less than 40 customers are still without power. A storm in the area is listed as the cause for the outages and there is still not time for expected restoration. Click here for updates.

UPDATE FEB. 15: As of 7 a.m. Feb. 15, it appears that 169 customers are still without power in the Las Vegas valley.

Most of the customers are located in zip codes 89030, 89104, 89106, and 89115.

An alert of NV Energy’s website says they are currently unable to provide an estimated time of restoration.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Today, more than 1,300 people are still without power, according to NV Energy, after strong winds swept through the Las Vegas valley yesterday.

At one point yesterday, more than 30,000 households were left in the dark.

That storm system left behind some significant damage including snapped trees, toppled billboards, and downed power lines.
