Moisture from Texas (where historic flooding continues around Austin) will push through New Mexico and Arizona back into Nevada this weekend.
That will set the stage for isolated showers on Saturday and then scattered thunderstorms on Sunday. Outdoor weekend plans shouldn't be canceled, but the weather will need to be monitored and back-up plans would be a good idea.
Lingering chances for showers and thunder are with us on Monday. Although it won't be a washout those days, increased clouds will keep highs to the upper 70s in Las Vegas.
