ORIGINAL STORY

PRIMM (KTNV) -- Lottery hopefuls dreaming of winning big lined up to purchase their Powerball tickets at the Primm Lotto Store Wednesday.

"There's no secret formula for picking the numbers," said Bill Wilson. "If I knew it I wouldn't be here picking random numbers trying to retire."

He was just one of hundreds of people who came to the Primm location Wednesday. The popular store has been known for selling winning tickets in the past.  The latest was a $1 million ticket earlier this year.

Officials with the lottery says anyone holding the lucky ticket could take a one-time $226.1 million payout or choose to get the entire sum in annual installments over 30 years.

The jackpot is currently up to $348 million, surpassing the $300 million mark after no one won the grand prize during Saturday’s drawing.

"When I win," said Dion Medley, "I'm going to to help a lot of people. I'm going to start up a domestic violence center, help my mom and of course I want my Range Rover."

Powerball tickets can be purchased at participating retailers for $2 apiece. Numbers are drawn at 7:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The drawing on Wednesday was 47-69-30-66-57, Powerball 03.
