North Las Vegas police seek driver after pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run crash

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — North Las Vegas police are asking for information from witnesses after they say a man walking near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carey Avenue was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.

The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. The 41-year-old man was brought to UMC Trauma in critical condition, police say.

Authorities do not have a vehicle description at this time.

As of 11 p.m., law enforcement is asking the public to avoid the area.
