An officer was hit in a multiple car crash near Spring Mountain Road and Polaris Avenue Monday morning.
Three different cars crashed into each other around 5:40 a.m. with police saying one of the drivers was impaired.
While investigating another non-injury crash, an elderly man attempted to avoid a tow truck in the intersection and hit two vehicles, including the tow truck. The tow truck pushed into the officer at the scene.
However, no injuries were reported.
The crash briefly blocked the roadway.
