This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for September 30, 2018.

8:31 A.M. 

A 39-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a Mercedes-Benz on Rainbow Boulevard near Diablo Street around 8:31 p.m. Sept. 31. The woman was not in a crosswalk. She was transported to UMC Trauma. The driver of the Mercedes-Benz did not show any signs of impairment. 

4:30 P.M. 

Firefighters responded to a 2-alarm fire at the Sunrise Terrace Mobile Home Park on Pecos Road near Lake Mead Boulevard in northeast Las Vegas. 

Crews from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and Clark County Fire Department were able to extinguish the fire. 

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported. 

1 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a scene where a body was located Sunday afternoon at 101 S. Jones Boulevard, near U.S. 95.

Officers were called to the area after the body was discovered wrapped in sheets along with trash on a driveway.

Homicide detectives are investigating the incident as the death appears suspicious, according to Metro.

Traffic was diverted on Jones, south of U.S. 95, for the on-scene investigation.
