LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:56 P.M.
Nevada Department of Transportation reports a wind alert on the Hoover Bypass Bridge in Boulder City on I-11/US-93. High profile vehicles are not advised to drive in the area due to strong crosswinds, NDOT says.

6:40 P.M.
Six people have been displaced after a fire that started on a patio, according to Las Vegas firefighters. The fire happened at a home near Sahara Avenue and Arville Street. Authorities say it caused $50,000 in damage. No injuries to report.

8:27 A.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officials report a crash involving a child on a bicycle and a vehicle at the intersection of North Tee Pee Lane and West Deer Springs Way. The child was transported to UMC Trauma. The age and extent of the juvenile's injuries is unknown at this time. The driver remained at the scene after the crash and impairment is not believed to have been a factor.
