The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9 P.M.
The RTC of Southern Nevada reported all lanes on the I-15 at Flamingo Road were clear. The LVMPD said an emotionally distressed person was threatening to jump from a freeway sign. Authorities were able to speak to the man who came down voluntarily.

7:38 P.M.
The RTC of Southern Nevada reported all lanes were blocked on I-15 southbound at West Flamingo Road due to police activity.

7:22 P.M.
The North Las Vegas Fire Department is responding to a fire near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Pecos Road. NLV fire upgraded the call to a 3-alarm fire that involved two buildings, saying that the fire may have been started by homeless people. No injuries were reported.

3:20 P.M.
The Nevada Highway Patrol reported a wrong-way crash on the 215 Beltway at Fair Hills Road. Minor injuries were also reported along with delays.

4:58 A.M.
UPDATE SEPT. 9: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 43-year-old Shannon Cherie William from Las Vegas. Her cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest and it has been ruled a homicide.

Police in Las Vegas are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex near Charleston and Nellis boulevards. No other information was immediately available. Check back for updates.
