LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:50 P.M.
Firefighters say there are no injuries to report after a generator fire at Vons supermarket near Pecos Road and Windmill Parkway in Henderson. Crew say the fire did not extend to the rest of the building. Two people were evaluated on the scene but nobody was transported.

2:35 P.M.
Red Rock Search and Rescue was searching for a missing person in the area of State Route 147 and mile marker 13 on Sept. 20. Authorities located the body of an adult man deceased in a sleeping bag at that location. Homicide detectives said the man looked to be murdered at another site before being left in the desert area. 8:30 A.M.
Las Vegas police report they are working an active robbery call in the 7700 block of South Rainbow Boulevard, near Robindale Road, with road closures in the area. Residents were urged to avoid Rainbow Boulevard.

7:40 A.M.
Las Vegas police are working an active situation with a suicidal and possibly armed man in the 5100 block Boulder Highway, near Sam's Town hotel-casino, with road closures on Boulder Highway while the situation was an active call.
