LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:27 P.M.
Las Vegas firefighters are on the scene of a fire at 97 Vallejo Avenue, near Charleston Boulevard and US-95. Crews say everyone is out of the house and one person is being treated for smoke inhalation on the scene.

FROM SEPT. 1
The National Park Service reported it responded to an incident at the 33 Hole Overlook on Sept. 1 at 1:40 p.m. in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The Nevada Department of Wildlife notified the park service that they observed abandoned items on the shoreline. Rangers responded and located an adult female in the water. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her death remains under investigation.
