The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 6:30 P.M.:
Las Vegas police say Farzaneh was found and is safe.

5:02 P.M.
Las Vegas police are asking for the help finding Madjid Farzaneh. Police say he might possibly be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance.

Farzaneh was last seen on Sept. 19 around 12 p.m. near the 5400 block of Topaz St. (E. Hacienda/S. Eastern area) in Las Vegas.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants and brown shoes.

All hospitals are asked to check their registries for the missing person and notify the police immediately. It should be noted that HIPAA permits disclosure upon request by law enforcement and is authorized pursuant to 45 C.F.R. section 164.512.

8:10 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at 1249 Pacific Terrace Drive on Thursday night. The fire appears to have started in bedroom. 10 adults and 6 children were displaced. 3 people were checked for smoke inhalation.
