This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for October 28, 2017.

8:00 P.M.

Las Vegas police responded to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at Swenson Street and East Twain Avenue around 6:38 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The driver stayed on scene after the crash. Sweson will be closed in both directions while police investigate the crash.

6:02 P.M.

A woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a man in the chest during an argument at the Siegel Suites on 600 East Bonanza Road. The incident happened around 4:48 p.m. Both the man and the woman were taken to the hospital for injuries, none of which were life threatening.

11:47 A.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal crash a Desert Inn Road and Nellis Boulevard. The crash happened around 10:53 a.m. Drivers should expect delays.

11:18 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says that the H-Street/McWilliams fire is out. The cause is under investigation.

11:02 A.M.

A second alarm responded to the fire at H-Street and McWilliams Avenue, though the bulk of the flames are out at this point. Two vacant buildings were involved. One squatter was found in one of the buildings. No injuries were reported.

10:14 A.M.

Firefighters are battling a fire in a 1-story vacant apartment building near West McWilliams Avenue and H Street. Officials say the fire is at the same location as "many previous fires." H street is closed from McWilliams Avenue to Bonanza Road due to the fire hose crossing the street.

8 A.M.

One bicyclist is dead and two are injured after being hit by a vehicle in Henderson on Saturday morning.

It happened around 8 a.m. near Via Inspirada and Volunteer Boulevard. The two injured bicyclist were transported to St. Rose Siena Hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating. Southbound Via Inspirada is currently closed. READ MORE.
