This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for October 25, 2017.

9:50 P.M.

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a Family Dollar store at 4895 East Tropicana Avenue. The suspect attempted to rob the store while reportedly wearing a security guard uniform. No one has been arrested and no injuries have been reported. The call came in around 8:50 p.m.

6:45 P.M.

Police investigating the crash near Cameron Street and Nevso Drive say that the driver of a car that hit the school bus suffered critical head injuries and has been taken to the hospital. No students were on the bus.

6:13 P.M.

A school bus and another vehicle collided near Cameron Street and Nevso Drive around 5 p.m. No students were injured, and the crash is under investigation. 

6:30 A.M.

Neighbors and police are attending to a person in a community near Sahara Avenue and Sloan Lane. READ MORE.

5:45 A.M.

A car has crashed into a utility box on the corner of Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road.

2:18 A.M.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to at 5926 Thor Circle, near Twain Avenue and Jones Boulevard.  

Upon arrival,  personnel reported smoke and flames showing from a garage of a two-story home. Crews were able to knock the fire down at a reported time of 2:31 a.m.

The fire is under investigation.
