The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

2:32 P.M.

The Clark County Fire Department, North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at 6066 Dewberry Ct., near North Sloan Lane and East Washington Avenue at 2:32 pm.. Firefighers responded a "high" level structure fire described as multiple vehicles on fire in a garage. Crews made an offensive attack and knocked the fire down. The fire in the garage was reported controlled at 2:54 p.m. One adult reported burn injuries but was not transported. Two adults and two children were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and damages have not yet been estimated.

12 P.M.

UPDATE: The bull was lassoed by its owners and put back in his trailer.

There were no injuries reported.

10:34 A.M.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Watch Commander reports that a rodeo bull escaped his enclosure in the area of East Owens Avenue and Betty Lane, east of North Nellis Boulevard.

The animal has been corralled in the same area and animal control is attempting to capture him.

Residents are being asked to avoid the area for the time being.
