LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 7:58 P.M.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 5825 West Desert Inn., near Jones Boulevard. CCFD responded a “high” level structural fire response sending 4 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue, and 2 battalion chiefs, authorities day. Upon arrival, personnel reported a vacant home with significant flames coming from the structure. Due to the size of the fire the incident commander had crews attack the structure from the exterior and requested two additional engines to respond to the scene to assist. CCFD reports that firefighters are still on scene and have made significant progress, but have not yet fully extinguished the fire. The fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported. Damages have not been estimated.

7:25 P.M.
Crews are responding to a fire on Desert Inn near Jones Boulevard. There are road closures in the area, avoid the area if you can. Check back for updates.

10:40 A.M.
Las Vegas police report an injured man was discovered at McCarran International Airport's parking lot. Authorities said he may have jumped or fallen from the upper levels of the parking structure. The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital in unknown condition.
