LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

10 A.M.
Heavy police activity was seen in the area of Lead Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road. Las Vegas police said officers attempted to stop a car in connection with an armed robbery and ended a vehicle pursuit at that location.

7:10 A.M.
Multiple units with Clark County fire responded to a structure fire at 3550 Horizon Circle. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but no further immediate details were released from the scene.

3:30 A.M.
Firefighters investigated a small fire in a water heater closet at a building located at 6995 Hopkins Drive. Crews were able to extinguish the flames with no injuries initially reported with the cause of the fire remaining under investigation.
