LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:11 P.M.
LVMPD responded to a two-vehicle traffic collision that occurred in the northbound travel lanes of South Hualapai Way, north of West Flamingo Road. Police say a 2005 Porsche Cayenne and 2013 Nissan Altima crashed. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Porsche remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment. The Nissan driver's death marks the 80th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction during the year 2020.

1:45 P.M.
UPDATE OCT. 26: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim of the crash as 31-year-old Joshua Shane Watson from Las Vegas. Watson's cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and neck. His death has been ruled an accident.

LVMPD is on the scene of a fatal crash at Robindale Road and Branding Iron Lane. Police say a motorcycle driver (adult male) was traveling east on Robindale at speeds above the posted limit when He lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. No other vehicles were involved and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Impairment is unknown at this time.

The intersection will be shut down in all directions for the next few hours. Avoid the area.

12:40 A.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal traffic collision at Maryland Parkway and Twain Avenue. A pedestrian was crossing the street near a marked crosswalk and against the signal before being struck by a Jeep Wrangler. The pedestrian was killed and the driver of the Jeep stayed on the scene but failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
