LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:55 P.M.
Las Vegas police were investigating a crash on Sandhill Road near Charleston Boulevard that involved a motorcyclist with a reported road closure in place for westbound travel. No life-threatening injuries were reported. READ UPDATE

9:25 P.M.
Las Vegas police were called to a home in the 3900 block of Comb Street with reports of an incident involving a child. Authorities said an adult was detained for further investigation but no further immediate details were released.

5:45 A.M.
Expect delays traveling on US-95 northbound before Durango this morning due to a vehicle fire. The RTC reports some lane closures on the freeway due to the incident.

4:37 A.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a hit-and-run crash near Paradise Road and Twain Avenue. Police say one driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. It is unknown if the incident is a DUI crash. No other injuries to report.

12:35 A.M.
Kingman police were involved in a shooting with an Arizona man armed with a rifle in the 2000 block of Fairgrounds Boulevard. READ MORE

Police say a man sitting in a vehicle on Fairfax Avenue was approached by two other men with guns. READ MORE.
