LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A bizarre incident took place shortly after midnight in the 4800 block of Fairfax Avenue near Hacienda Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
Police say a man was sitting in his car when he was approached by 2 other men with guns.
One of the men got into the car with him and demanded the victim’s property. The victim panicked and hit the gas.
As the car was speeding away, the other man fired several shots, hitting the victim’s vehicle at least once.
Desperate to get out of the car, the man who jumped in pulled the emergency brake and demanded the victim stop the car.
Once the car was stopped, the victim jumped out and ran to a nearby house for help.
The alleged thief rummaged through the victim’s car before running away.
No arrests have been made.
