This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for Nov. 8, 2017.

11:06 P.M.

RTC of Southern Nevada reports the northbound on-ramp at east Flamingo Road is closed due to a fatal crash that was reported around 9:30 p.m. No other information is available.

10:52 P.M.

North Las Vegas Police are searching for a suspect after hitting a police patrol vehicle. Sources say that North Las Vegas Police was in pursuit of the suspect before the crash near Tropical Parkway and Hollywood Boulevard. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries have been reported.

9:58 P.M.

A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the stomach near Sahara Avenue and Fort Apache Road. Police say dispatch received a call from a woman saying she observed two men arguing then heard a gunshot around 8:31 p.m. The victim was unable to provide details to police before becoming unresponsive. He was transported to University Medical Center. This is an on-going investigation.

9:46 P.M.

Clark County Fire Department responded to a small fire in the ceiling of a theater inside The Venetian Las Vegas. CCFD says that some rope lighting caught fire around 8:30 p.m. Officials called a second alarm fire as a precaution. Crews found no extension of flames. Damages have not been estimated and the fire is under investigation.

9:09 P.M.

Police say an infant is in extremely critical condition due to possible co-sleeping. Medical personnel and officers responded to 3333 North Michael Way after they received a call regarding a baby not breathing around 6:00 p.m. The baby was transported to University Medical Center. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Abuse and Neglect are investigating this incident. 

9:30 A.M.

North Las Vegas police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a 63-year-old man on a moped and a truck at Alexander Street and Bruce Road.

The victim is in critical condition.
