Las Vegas breaking news for November 3, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 3, 2018.

5:35 P.M.

All lanes have reopened on Desert Inn Road after an earlier crash involving a cyclist. 

5:10 P.M.

A cyclist has non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Desert Inn Road between Decatur Boulevard and Lindell Road around 3:43 p.m. One eastbound traffic lane remains closed.

3:50 P.M.

A suspicious device was deemed safe after it was found on in the 9300 block of Brent Lane, near Tee Pee Lane and Iron Mountain Road, around 1:15 p.m. This is near both Scherkenbach and Bilbray elementary schools. It was not on school grounds but on an adjacent street. Officers are working with school police to ensure the surrounding areas are clear. The device appeared suspicious since it was off school grounds on a weekend when no one was present at the school.
