This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for Nov. 2, 2017.

5:50 P.M.

A small plane has crashed at the Desert Painted Golf Course near U.S. 95 and Ann Road. Two people were on board. They reportedly were able to escape without serious injury. FULL STORY.

12 P.M.

Henderson Police Department confirms a juvenile was shot at a home on the 900 block of Seven Hills Drive, near Horizon Ridge Parkway. FULL STORY

12 P.M.

Cadwallader Middle School on 775 Elkhorn Road was evacuated after a foul odor was coming from the school.

Las Vegas Fire and Southwest Gas have cleared the scene and school has resumed.

Las Vegas Fire reported that two students were sent to the hospital for unrelated pre-existing medical issues.

8 A.M.

Firefighters responded to a fire at a small vacant house on Euclid and Wengert avenues,  near Eastern Avenue and Fremont Street.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

 

6:45 A.M.

Chopper 13 was above a crash on Commerce Street, near Carey Avenue. A school bus can be seen surrounded by police vehicles at the scene of the crash between a vehicle and a 16-year-old boy. READ MORE
