Las Vegas breaking news for November 15, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 15, 2018.

9:52 P.M.

Las Vegas police responded to a report of a man shot in the area of South Jones Boulevard and West Robindale Road. There they located a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. The suspect is not in custody and detectives are responding.

9 P.M.

Between 2:40 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., two men wielding a wrench approached the vehicle of a student near the Campus Village Shopping Center which is near the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Harmon Avenue across the street from UNLV's campus.  The suspects robbed the student and fled in the student's 2013 beige Volkswagen Jetta with Utah plate X534BL.  The student was not injured. Las Vegas police are conducting the investigation.

6:05 P.M.

Las Vegas police said a motorcyclist has died after a crash near Desert Inn Road and Nellis Boulevard.

4:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police are responding to a critical injury crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle in the 4800 block of East Desert Inn Road, near Nellis Boulevard. Fatal Detail is investigating.
