The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:10 p.m.
Henderson Police Department is on the scene near Arroyo Grande Boulevard and American Pacific Drive responding to multiple reports of hearing what was believed to be gunshots in the area. There are no reported injuries at this time.

11 A.M.
One man was brought into custody after a possible attempted kidnapping and stolen car incident on North Green Valley Parkway near Sunset Road around 9:30 a.m., according to Henderson police. Investigators say a man entered an occupied and running vehicle, the driver then left, and then the man drove onto Sunset Road and crashed into the median. Police say he then abandoned the vehicle and ran into a nearby business complex where he was taken into custody without further incident. The vehicle’s driver sustained minor injuries while exiting the vehicle. The scene is now clear, according to police.

6:04 A.M.
Las Vegas police say roads should open soon near Las Vegas Boulevard and Russell Road following a barricade situation that began shortly before 3:30 a.m. Police say detectives found a wanted person in the area who initially refused leave a room, which caused road closures between Harley Davidson and Four Seasons. It is not clear where exactly this happened. That person has been brought into custody without incident, the department says.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Police activity near Las Vegas Boulevard, Russell

4:51 A.M.
Las Vegas police say a woman was transported to Sunrise Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting on Harmon Avenue near Maryland Parkway. No arrests were made. Authorities say the shooter was known to the woman.
