The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

2:42 P.M.
Las Vegas police say the female suspect is in custody and roads are expected to open soon near the corner of Twain Avenue and Paradise Road. The incident remains under investigation.

1:07 P.M.
Las Vegas police are on scene of an Assault/Battery with Deadly Weapon call near the corner of Twain Avenue and Paradise Road. A person is barricaded inside of an apartment , SWAT and Crisis Negotiators are responding to the scene. Twain Avenue is closed from Paradise Road to Palos Verdes. Police are asking people to please avoid the area.

9:30 A.M.
The Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner (CCOCME) has confirmed that Jennifer Clearly has been found dead. On Nov. 17 Las Vegas police asked for help finding a missing woman who police say was suffering from extreme emotional distress and may have been in need of medical attention. The coroner could not confirm the location she was found, but stated her body was found outside in a dumpster.

5:47 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue are on the scene of an attic fire on Shanagolden Street near Grand Canyon Drive and West Gilmore Avenue. LVFR says the occupants are out and okay. One cat was also rescued.
