The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
4:03 P.M.
Las Vegas police say a 65-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a 2020 Toyota Camry near West Owens Avenue and North Main Street. Police say the Toyota veered off the roadway and went onto the sidewalk and hit the woman. The Toyota then crashed into a light pole with the woman underneath the car. The male driver of the Toyota jumped out of the car and ran. The woman died at the scene. The driver has not been located. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
