A man is dead after being hit by a BMW near Alexander Avenue and Walker Street. The BMW was turning onto Alexander from Walker when the car hit the man. The male driver stayed on the scene. The incident happened shortly after 11 p.m. READ MORE

A woman was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting near Oakey and Decatur boulevards. Police are continuing to look for the shooter.
2:38 P.M.
Las Vegas police say a person was shot in the 4600 block of W. Oakey Blvd. near Decatur Boulevard. Victim was transported to local hospital. Condition is unknown. Police are searching for shooter in nearby apartment complex.
