The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
2:30 P.M.
LVMPD Traffic Section is investigating a critical injury crash involving a motorcycle near West Charleston and South Valley View Boulevards. The motorcyclist was transported to UMC hospital in critical condition. West bound Charleston Boulevard has been shut down until the conclusion of the investigation. Avoid the area.
1:55 P.M.
Henderson Police and Fire Personnel are on the scene of a shooting near North Major Avenue and Burkholder Boulevard. Police say an adult male was shot and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Major Avenue is currently shut down between Burkholder and Drake as the investigation takes place. No officers are involved in the incident.
1:24 P.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Abuse Neglect Section is investigating a near drowning incident near North Lamb Boulevard and East Owens Avenue. A 2-year-old was transported to UMC Pediatrics in critical condition. This is an ongoing investigation.
