Las Vegas breaking news for March 21, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for March 21, 2018.

9:08 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says Dell H. Robinson Middle School was evacuated due to a smell of natural gas coming from one of the classrooms.

Southwest Gas has been notified and the fire department has left the scene after finding no trace of gas or other harmful chemicals. 

6 A.M. 

Witnesses reported to police that shots had been fired at a residence in the 6400 block of Vicuna Drive, near Sahara Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive. Witnesses told police there had been an argument in the residence, following by shots. Multiple people exited the residence when police arrived. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. The suspect was taken into custody with no further incident around 8:35 a.m. No injuries were reported.

OVERNIGHT

Around 10:47 p.m., a homicide occurred at 4855 Boulder Highway, near Flamingo Road. FULL STORY
