The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
NHP say that a black Dodge Challenger that was northbound on the 215 and Far Hills Avenue off-ramp crashed into a house. The male driver was traveling too fast to negotiate the curve to go eastbound on Far Hills Avenue and lost control. The car crossed the lanes of Far Hills Avenue and struck a power box then went thru a retaining wall and into the side of residence. The car did not go into the house but it did strike the kitchen and living room area where it shattered the glass door and windows. The family who lives at the house was just having dinner in that area a few minutes prior to the crash. The driver of the Challenger was arrested by NHP on suspicion of DUI. It’s believed that speed and impairment were factors in the crash.
