LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:15 P.M.

Henderson police responded to a call of a deceased person on Pabco Road between East Sunset Road and East Warm Springs Road. When they arrived they found a deceased man around 50-years-old. There was a firearm discovered near the body. Police are investigating the death currently.

6:00 P.M
UPDATE: "We are looking into a report that a door or a panel fell off an aircraft near Nellis AFB. An FAA inspector is en route to the site," says the FAA.

Reports of plane pieces falling from sky

4:15 P.M.

Las Vegas police responded to the McDonald's parking lot at West Tropicana Avenue and South Jones Boulevard for a call of a man who entered an empty vehicle and began damaging the interior with what appeared to be scissors and a knife. Officers were able to safely take the man into custody after talking with him for several minutes. The man was transported to a local hospital to undergo further evaluation as he appeared to be suffering from a possible medical episode or a mental disorder.

2:45 P.M.
Police report airplane debris fell on a roof of an apartment complex in the 4700 block of East San Miguel Avenue, near Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard. Authorities said these parts might have been from a contracted plane that flies out of Nellis Air Force Base. No injuries were reported in the incident, but a vehicle may have been struck. The situation remained under investigation.
