The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:42 P.M.
UPDATE (7/8/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the decedent as 30-year-old Marlin Darnell Moreland from Las Vegas. His cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, an accident.

Nevada Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal Crash on Ann Rd at the US 95. Motorcycle vs. SUV. The motorcycle rider is confirmed deceased. 95/Ann SB on-ramp is closed. Expect delays in the area, use alternate routes.

6:12 P.M.
Las Vegas police say two people is recovering from critical injuries at UMC Trauma after a crash near Rampart and Del Webb Boulevards. Officers say four vehicles were involved and two drivers were transported to the hospital. None of the drivers displayed signs of impairment, police say. This crash remains under investigation.

Update: The 74 year old woman involved in the Feb. 27 crash on Tropicana and La Cumbre Drive has been identified as Harriet Hayward of Las Vegas. The incident has been classified as an accident.

1:30 P.M.
Las Vegas police say the coroner has ruled that the death of a 74-year-old woman on Feb. 27 was caused by blunt force injuries sustained during a vehicle crash into a tree on Tropicana Avenue near La Cumbre Drive. She was pronounced dead on scene but authorities were waiting for the coroner's office to determine the cause before it was counted as a traffic-related death. Her death marks the 46th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department jurisdiction for the year 2020.

10:30 A.M.
There are currently more than 600 customers in Clark County without power. 225 customers are located in zip code 89101 and 378 customers are in 89108. Estimated time of restoration is 1 p.m. for 89101 and 11 a.m. for 89108. MORE INFO.

North Las Vegas Police asking for help in locating an older man who has been missing since June 11. FULL STORY.

6 A.M.
Las Vegas police say southbound US-95 near Desert Inn is back open after a road rage incident on the freeway. Police say they are investigating an incident of battery with deadly weapon, though they did not specify what the weapon was. One person has non life threatening injuries. No other details were immediately available and the investigation remains underway.

12:29 A.M.
UPDATE (7/7/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the man killed in the crash as 35-year-old Valentino Carlos. His cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma, an accident.

One person is dead after a crash near South Durango Drive and West Patrick Lane. Police say a Honda and Volkswagen were traveling in southbound on Durango when the Honda crossed the middle travel lane and hit the Volkswagen. Both cars left the road and hit a brick wall. The Volkswagen rolled, hitting the Honda and its driver. The 35-year-old male driver of the Honda was killed. The occupants of the Volkswagen did not appear impaired.
