The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:19 P.M.
Firefighters are investigating a dumpster fire in an alley near downtown Las Vegas. Crews say the fire is out and there are no injuries to report.

7: P.M.
Clark County Fire Department are responding to a fire in a wash near Hacienda Avenue and Buffalo Drive. Officials say the fire is under control and there are no injuries to report.

5:00 P.M.
Police are investigating a sexual assault that happened at Wayne Bunker Family Park near Tenaya Way and Alexander at 10:30 this morning, according to officials. MORE

4:45 P.M.
An SUV crashed into a wall and caught on fire near S. Pavilion Center Drive just north of W. Charleston Boulevard. Authorities say a person in the car was pulled out of the vehicle by passer-bys. That person is being transported to UMC Trauma and is in serious condition. MORE

4:15 P.M.
NV Energy reports about 1,700 customers are without power in the north part of the Las Vegas valley, near Decatur Boulevard and Grand Teton Drive. No word on the cause. For updates check here.

11 A.M.
Durango Drive has reopened after the serious crash this morning. Police say that the driver of 2016 Hyundai Accent is believed to have been impaired and lost control of his car, hitting a traffic island and then hitting a pine tree. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

8:20 A.M.
Police say that a man in his 20s was driving near Durango and Bostek drives when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Durango Drive will be close for several house since the Fatal Detail is investigating.

7 A.M.
Durango Drive is currently closed between Charleston Boulevard and Alta Drive. Police are on the scene and it appears that a red car hit a tree and is badly damage. No word on condition of driver or any passengers.

6 A.M.
Police are on the scene of an incident near the Bellagio hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Police say they were notified by a citizen that a man had pulled a gun from his waistband and was walking along Las Vegas Boulevard. An officer located the man and attempted to stop him. The man ran, threw the gun in a bush, and then jumped off a pedestrian bridge near the Bellagio. The man was injured during the jump, about 15 to 20 feet, and was placed into custody and taken to local hospital. The gun was recovered. MORE
