The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

10 P.M.
Las Vegas police are at the scene of an officer-involved shooting near Sahara and Hualapai. Police say one person is in custody. This is breaking news, check back for updates.

4:03 A.M.
Fire crews put out a small, smoldering fire in a garage of a 2-story house at 7729 Villa Gabriela Ave. near Buffalo Drive and Racel Street. The fire was caused by mixing of pool chemicals. No injuries reported.

OVERNIGHT
A pedestrian was struck near Charleston Boulevard and Arville Street on Thursday night. Road closures were still in effect early this morning but have not been lifted. READ MORE.

WANTED
Las Vegas police report two men are suspected of an armed robbery in the 3700 block of Nellis Boulevard. The two reportedly used weapons to steal money from an unidentified business in the area.
