6:50 A.M.
There is a crash on the ramp from Interstate 15 southbound at Flamingo, according to RTC. The off ramp left shoulder is blocked. Expect delays.
OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police say an officer sustained minor injuries after a Cadillac accelerated towards them during a traffic stop. This happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Houston Drive, near Charleston Boulevard and Fremont Street. The officer sustained a glancing strike to the knees/legs, police say, as the officer was attempting to step out of the way. The driver then drove a short distance before jumping out of the car in the on Clifford Avenue, about a tenth of a mile away. An air unit and K9 responded to conduct a search, but police say the driver was not located. The officer sustained a minor injury and was not transported to the hospital.
