This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for July 8, 2018.

2:19 P.M.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Southern Clark County near the Nevada-California state line. They say heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the area, which may lead to minor flooding. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen. The advisory remains in effect until 3:15 p.m.

OVERNIGHT

A man is dead after being shot near Tropicana Avenue and Spencer Street. It happened around 4 a.m. No one has been arrested at this time. READ MORE.
