This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for January 30, 2018.

9:46 P.M.

One person died and two others are in critical condition after multiple vehicles crashed near Sahara Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. Las Vegas police say the crash happened around 8:59 p.m. Drivers may want to avoid the area while police investigate.

4:25 A.M.

3 people were detained after they reportedly beat up an employee at a local Subway. It happened at 7040 S. Durango Drive. 2 males and a female ordered food at the Subway and left without paying. When the employee confronted them in the parking lot, they beat him up and took his car. The victim’s vehicle was located at the RIO and the 3 people were detained. The employee did not require hospitalization.
