LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

10:08 A.M.
A man was shot during an altercation in the 2000 block of Stewart Avenue. Police say a man and woman were fighting inside a store. The man left and she called someone. A few minutes later, two people showed up. While leaving the store, two shots were fired and victim was hit in the knee. The shooter has not been arrested.

4:28 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a death in the 4700 block of Montebello Avenue that is being called suspicious at this time. Homicide detectives are heading to the scene to investigate.

1:22 P.M.
SR-159 in the Red Rock area is now open in both directions, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. It had been closed since just before 10 A.M. due to a fatal crash from Calico Basin Road to Red Rock Visitor Center Road.

1:15 P.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue respond to vacant house fire at 2122 Stewart Avenue. No injuries reported.

12:45 P.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were involved in a shooting on the 3300 block of Badura Avenue, near South Valley View Boulevard and West Warm Springs Road. No officers have been injured. Status of the suspect is unknown at this time.

12:10 P.M.
The road is still closed where the fatal crash occurred on SR-159 (West Charleston Boulevard) this morning. It is currently closed from Calico Basin Road to Red Rock Visitor Center Road.

9:55 A.M.
Nevada Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash on SR-159 at mile marker 11 in the Red Rock Canyon area. Travel lanes on SR-159 are closed in both directions between Calico Basin Road and Red Rock Visitor Center. Commuters are encourage to find alternate routes.
