LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6 P.M.

Clark County Fire Department responded to a house fire at 7430 Scottish Castle Avenue, near South Buffalo Drive and Interstate 215. Firefighters quickly put out a fire on the second floor of the house. No one was home at the time of the fire. Damage estimates are around $30,000. The fire is still being investigated and the cause is unknown at this time.

10:53 A.M.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is warning commuters of a bad crash on I-15, just past Flamingo Road, that has shut down four lanes of traffic. The collision involved an Nevada Department of Transportation vehicle, a Toyota Scion and a Mercedes Benz that rolled over. There were no injuries reported in any of the vehicles and tow trucks are en route to clear the lanes. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes at this time.

10:42 A.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report that a man suffered a non-life threatening wound after being shot while on the 4800 block of East Sahara Avenue. Officials report that the victim is refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
