This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for January 17, 2018.

1:32 P.M.

Henderson police said there was a disgruntled customer in the lobby of Henderson City Hall. An employee hit the emergency response button, which assumes everything is an active shooter situation. The man in question was told to leave the property and employees were able to go back to their offices in about five minutes at 1:37 p.m.

9:35 A.M.

Las Vegas police found a woman's body in a wash on the 1600 block of Bonnie Springs Road. READ MORE

7:15 A.M.

Henderson police are investigating a battery on the 2200 block of Ramsgate Drive, near Warm Springs and Green Valley parkways.

A man was found at the location of the battery and transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition. There are no suspects in custody at this time and officers are still gathering information about the incident.

Police have said that the injured man's phone was found smashed at the scene.

6:50 A.M.

Firefighters are on the scene of a fire near Desert Inn Road and Mountain Vista Street.

4:22 A.M.

Police received a call this morning from a man who said his limo had been stolen near Las Vegas Boulevard and Reno Avenue. The thief abandoned the limo behind Palace Station. A perimeter has been established and police are now searching for the thief in the area.
